Depression
Depression is a common and treatable condition where mood, energy and motivation drop for weeks or months at a time. If you feel flat, disconnected, or constantly tired, help from a clinical psychologist can make a real difference. We see clients in Northbridge near the Perth CBD and via telehealth across Western Australia.

Types of depression
Major depressive episode
A period of low mood or loss of interest most days for at least two weeks, often with sleep, appetite and energy changes.
Persistent depressive disorder
Longer term low mood and low energy that may be milder day to day but hangs around for years.
Perinatal depression and anxiety
Mood changes during pregnancy or after birth are common and treatable.
Seasonal pattern
Mood dips at certain times of year, often linked to changes in light, routine and connection.
Bipolar depression
Depressive episodes in a person who also experiences hypomania or mania at other times. We coordinate care with your GP or psychiatrist when this is relevant.
